I do think that this ia a good attempt at a more dynamic composition, and the folds actually turned out quite well, references used or not. The positioning of the arms and hands are a nice try.
In contrast, her hair doesn't flow nearly as naturally or smoothly as her dress; it's funny, I personally think that getting long hair to flow is way easier than getting clothing to flow.
And I think the digital effects kinda ruins the nice original linework, but you already know that.
All in all, this is still the product of great effort, though. You just need to get used to drawing rippling fabric and swirling hairdos.
